With over 15 years of experience as a goalkeeper, Rusty developed his skills through the Eastern Pennsylvania Olympic Development Program (ODP) before going on to play at East Stroudsburg University and DeSales University. During his collegiate career, he was a three-time First Team All-MAC selection, helped lead his teams to three MAC Championships, and set school records for shutouts, goals-against average, saves, and save percentage.
